Social bullying

Social bullying – more indirect than direct

Social bullying involves spreading rumours, ignoring or rejecting someone, creating a situation designed to make them look stupid, breaking up friendships, etc.

It’s usually indirect, such as if you deliberately reject someone and encourage other people to do the same thing when that person comes along.

But social bullying can also be direct: for example, telling everyone not to let someone join their team... when the person’s right there!
