Frequently asked questions

What can I do when I feel too many emotions at the same time?

Everything’s mixed up in your head and your heart… You feel like you’re going to explode! Our advice: don’t keep everything inside yourself. The best thing is to talk to a trusted person who’s able to listen to you and maybe help you sort things out. You’ll feel better if you share what you’re feeling. You can also express these overflowing emotions in different ways, for example, by writing, drawing, playing a sport, or listening to music. To sum up, it needs to come out! 🙂

How can I see life more positively?

In life, things aren’t always beautiful, gentle, or easy. Maybe you can’t control everything that happens, but you can control your ideas and thoughts. What do you pay attention to? Do you see the good side of things or the bad side? Train yourself to focus on the positive. If that’s hard for you, first make an effort to see the good things in your life. Every day, ask yourself, What am I grateful for today? Do you feel happy, proud, or satisfied about a good grade, a conversation with a friend, or your performance in a sport? There’s something good about every day! This gratitude exercise will help you discover the beauty of your everyday life.

I often doubt myself. How can I feel more confident?

We build our self-esteem throughout our lives, and it develops based on our experiences and successes. By focusing your thoughts on the positive aspects of your personality and your experiences, you can feed your self-esteem. Recognize your good qualities and set yourself small challenges every day that will make you feel good when you succeed. Don’t forget: nobody’s perfect! Everyone has the right to make mistakes, including you! Be forgiving with yourself, as you would be with a friend.

How can I face failures and difficulties?

Failure never feels good. But everyone makes mistakes or has difficulties. Even the biggest stars didn’t succeed at everything the first time they tried! Give yourself the right to make mistakes. To help you “roll with the punches,” you can surround yourself with people you trust. Talk to them about what you’re feeling, then take a step back and think about what this problem could teach you. In addition to helping you accept the situation, it’ll make you grow and move forward. You can find positive aspects even in difficult experiences!
