How we help

Aider c’est branché

Aider c’est branché! is a unique Tel-jeunes program for groups of peer helpers in schools. It offers dynamic workshops given in schools by Tel-jeunes counsellors.

Tel-jeunes believes in the importance of peer support groups and the positive impact they can have on their environment.

How to start a support group

Would you like to start a support group in your high school?

You have our full support! Tel-jeunes provides a three-hour training session to assist you in setting up a support group. You will:

  • Learn how peer support groups work.
  • Familiarize yourself with the steps in setting up such a program.
  • Develop the skills you need to prepare and lead a training program for peer helpers.

You’ll be given an implementation handbook during the training session so you have a paper trail for the initiative you’ve launched.

To find out more, contact our training service at 514 288-144 or email formation@teljeunes.com
