Connecting with Youth and Raising Awareness of Our Services

This tour also highlighted meaningful encounters with the 150 youth center staff members who kindly welcomed us and worked alongside our two facilitators and the teens to create these special moments of sharing.

Bringing Tel-jeunes to Youth Centers

With this initiative, Tel-jeunes aimed to connect with young people, meet them in their daily lives, and engage with them in their own environments, especially in regions further away from Montreal and Quebec City. Teens in these areas can sometimes feel more isolated and disconnected from support and listening services. This tour also highlights a wonderful collaboration with the Maisons des Jeunes, who kindly welcomed us and worked with our two hosts to create these moments of sharing.

Overall, the TJ Tour resulted in:

• Over 600 teens met in person across 18 cities

• More than 150 youth workers from Maisons des Jeunes who hosted our hosts and mobilized the teens

• 5 ambassadors on-site spending time with the teens

• Thousands of teens engaged with the initiative on social media
