Leurs histoires

«I remember the challenges of my teenage years»

Adolescence is a time of doubts and questions, amplified by the challenges of today’s world. I remember it well, which is why I support Tel-jeunes every month. This regular donation, affordable within my budget, allows me to make a tangible difference for young people in distress. I hope to truly impact their lives.

— Monthly donor since 2022

«Talking to my parents wasn’t an option»

I often reached out to Tel-jeunes during high school, whether it was over a fight with friends or more difficult moments. Every time I called, I could speak openly about my problems and receive attentive listening and valuable guidance. Tel-jeunes became a safe haven, a space where I could express myself without judgment — especially since talking to my parents wasn’t an option.

— Teen, high school student

«My daughter wanted to die. You were her lifeline»

At a time when our daughter couldn’t trust the adults around her, you became her lifeline. The conversation was professional and compassionate. The counselor showed such good judgment, and I will be forever grateful. Your organization plays an indispensable role, especially when resources in the healthcare system are stretched so thin.

— Mother of a Teen

Art and Tel-jeunes, supporting teens

As the director of the Josette Picard Dance School, I chose to mobilize my community to support the Tel-jeunes Foundation because we share common values. Art, and dance in particular, is essential for young people’s development, but complementary support like Tel-jeunes is crucial.
