40 Years of Mobilization: The Story of the Tel-jeunes Lobster Lunch

Since 1986, the Lobster Lunch has brought together the business community around a shared mission: supporting Quebec’s teens.

On June 12, the 40th edition of the Tel-jeunes Lobster Lunch will take place, an event that has become a cornerstone of Quebec’s philanthropic landscape.

 

Created in 1986 to fund the organization’s services, then known as Parents Anonymes du Québec, the Lobster Lunch was built on a simple idea from the start: bringing together business leaders in a warm and welcoming atmosphere to support an essential cause.

 

Forty years later, the event has grown remarkably while staying true to its roots. Hundreds of volunteers, partners, and leaders from the business community have helped build this unique gathering, now recognized as the largest philanthropic luncheon in the province.
